Privacy Policy
Popimo ("the app") is a color-matching reflex game made for young children, with a faster mode also enjoyed by older kids and teens. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it's used.
information we collect
Popimo does not require an account and does not collect your name, email, or any personal profile — from you or from your child. Your settings (colorblind patterns, sensory-friendly mode, sound and music toggles) and your best scores for each game mode are stored only on your device, using local on-device storage. Nothing is sent to a server, and nothing is tied to an identity. Uninstalling the app deletes this data.
advertising
Popimo shows banner and interstitial ads through AppLovin MAX, a mediation platform that may serve ads from other partner ad networks it works with. Because Popimo is made for children, ads are configured to be non-personalized and contextual only — not based on behavioral tracking, browsing history, or a profile built about you or your child. In particular:
- The app does not request or use Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission, and does not collect your device's IDFA.
- On Android, the app explicitly excludes the Google Advertising ID (AD_ID) permission, so it isn't collected at all.
- On iOS, ad attribution uses Apple's SKAdNetwork, a privacy-preserving framework that works without tracking or identifying individual users.
AppLovin and its mediated networks may still collect limited technical and app-usage data (such as general, non-precise information) to serve and measure ads under this non-personalized configuration, per their own privacy practices. Popimo does not receive or store this data itself.
children's privacy
Popimo is designed for children and treats all its ad serving as child-directed accordingly — see "advertising" above. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, and does not include external links, chat, or any other way for a child to share information or contact another person from within the app.
accessibility settings
Popimo's colorblind-pattern overlays and sensory-friendly mode (slower animations, gentler feedback) are plain on/off settings stored on your device like any other preference — turning them on or off doesn't send any information anywhere.
your choices
Since all gameplay data lives on your device, you're always in control of it — clear it by uninstalling the app.
A note for parents: because Popimo doesn't collect personal information or use behavioral ad tracking, there isn't a separate "delete my data" request process to describe — uninstalling the app is sufficient. If you have questions about anything above, use the contact address below.
